In Treywey’s words

Why did you start BJJ?

I started BJJ to tap in more with the grappling portion, to better understand the ground game, and to be able to defend myself.

What do you enjoy most about competing?

Testing the waters with my training, the team hype, the team support, and creating history with the GUMA boys.

What motivates you to keep training?

New levels, new lessons, and new accomplishments.

Who has influenced your BJJ journey the most?

Sensei Tuck and the GUMA boys.

What does representing our competition team mean to you?

It means being a genuine reflection of what our team stands for.

What does representing Guam mean to you?

It means carrying more than myself and giving my best effort. I want to represent Guam with a positive attitude, good sportsmanship, and hard work.

What are your competition goals for the next 12 months?

My competition goals are to continue leveling up, become more technical, and make history with GUMA.

What is your ultimate goal in BJJ?

To receive a brown belt from Sensei Tuck.
