Why did you start BJJ?
I started BJJ in April 2024 because I wanted to try something new and challenge myself.

"Myah"
A’myah “Myah” Rie Cabe is a youth grey belt from Yigo, Guam. She stepped onto the mats in April 2024 looking for something new and a way to challenge herself.
Over the last three years Myah has grown into a confident competitor, collecting medals at local and regional tournaments while having fun, testing her skills, and supporting her teammates.
I started BJJ in April 2024 because I wanted to try something new and challenge myself.
I enjoy having fun, testing my skills, and seeing how much I’ve improved.
My family, coaches, and the goal of getting better every time I train.
Sensei John Tuck, my teammates, and my brother have had the biggest influence on my BJJ journey.
Representing my team with pride, supporting my teammates, showing leadership, and always giving my best on and off the mat.
Representing my people and my island with pride every time I step on the mat.
To keep improving, compete more, and give my best every time.
To keep growing, reach my full potential, and become the best version of myself in BJJ.
